
San Manuel, Pangasinan โ Pangasinan State University, Asingan Campus, under the leadership of Dr. Madlyn D. Tingco, campus executive director, once again demonstrated its commitment to community service by successfully launching the โEnrich Meโ Extension Program Phase 1 for the United Methodist Church Northeast Pangasinan District (UMC NEPD) on July 23.
This extension program, proposed by Dr. Razeale G. Resultay, vice president for Research, Extension, Innovation and GAD; Dr. Armando D. Junio, director for Extension Services; and Dr. Gloria M. Ducut, center head for Business, Economics and Tourism, held its kickoff activity at Bomboaya, United Methodist Church, San Manuel, Pangasinan.
The purpose of this activity was to enhance the skills and knowledge of the United Methodist Young Fellowship (UMYF) officers from various local churches of NEPD through the Nurturing Leadership project of the โEnrich Meโ program. This included training on planning and budget management, proposal writing, correspondence and communication management, and corporate documentation and reporting.
Ptr. Yzel Pacis Nilo, administrative pastor, warmly welcomed all extensionists with her opening remarks. The event featured esteemed resource speakers who shared their expertise: Dr. Gloria M. Ducut, center head for Business, Economics, and Tourism; Dr. Mary Jane U. Quibilan, department chair of General Education; and Mr. Laurence D. Agsalud, department chair of the BEE and BSE programs.
Other dedicated extensionists who participated in the activity included Asst. Prof. Adoracion T. Gante, Extension coordinator and Mr. Rommel S. Corpuz, a 4th-year BSBA student.
