PSU- Asingan Campus Alumnus Tops the LET 2022

Thomas Jefferson A. Fernando, Alumnus of Pangasinan State University- Asingan Campus under Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) ranked 3rd in the Licensure Examination for Teachers- Elementary Level held on January 30, 2022.

With an average score of 92.20%, this 33-year-old young man from Taytay, Rizal remarkably proved that he’s a roaring lion of the university clinching a spot in national examinations. There were 8,737 out of 15,696 (55.66%) who passed the LET in January 2022. He took Bachelor in Elementary Education, major in Enhanced General Education under the ETEEAP in 2019.

Fernando said, “PSU-ETEEAP gave me the chance to finish my degree.” He also expressed his gratitude to ETEEAP for he was able to continue his study which brought him more opportunities to grow as an individual. He believed that “Mahirap ang maging mahirap, ngunit mas mahirap ang taong walang pangarap.”

Fernando proved that hard work is the best recipe for success, and this is the attribute that emboldens him to achieve success on the set goals and objectives in his life.

Enthused to produce remarkable educators who will hone and mold the skills and prowess of the students of the new generation, Pangasinan State University- Asingan Campus has produced a competent professional teacher in the person of Evangeline Dupale of Pangasinan State University- Asingan campus with an average percentage score of 87.20% who landed in the 5th spot in the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) of September 2016. 

Through the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP), she was able to pursue her college education. She said, “There has always been a yearning for learning on my part. The ETEEAP gave me the hope to achieve some of my higher goals in life. With that, I sincerely express my gratitude to all the faculty and staff for all their academic support that taught me to be more competitive in life.”

Dupale’s achievement proves that no matter how hard life is, through hard work, perseverance, and determination, coupled with faith in God, there is nothing you cannot achieve in life. 

As a board top notcher, she received P100,000.00 in cold cash from Pangasinan State University for bringing honor and glory to the university.
