
Pangasinan State University, Asingan Campus, under the leadership of its Campus Executive Director, Dr. Madlyn D. Tingco, successfully conducted the first phase of its Knowledge Enhancement Training Extension Program for the Persons with Disability (PWD) Affairs Office, Asingan, Pangasinan, on July 22 at the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office Conference Room. The event aimed to empower PWDs by equipping them with essential skills in business and financial management.
Ms. Rose Ann T. Alfonso, PWD Affairs officer, warmly welcomed all participants and extensionists with her opening remarks. The MSWD Officer, Ms. Teresa O. Mamalio, RSW, demonstrated her support to the event by delivering an inspirational message.
The resource speakers who shared their expertise were Dr. Gloria M. Ducut, center head for Business, Economics and Tourism, Dr. Lobien S. Soriano, department chairperson of the Business Administration Department, Dr. Narciso Martin Jr., BSBA faculty, Mr. JB O. Doria, college dean of Business and Technology and Dr. Mary Jane U. Quibilan, department chair of General Education.
Other extensionists who also participated in the activity were Mr. Laurence D. Agsalud, department chair of the BSE and BEE Department, Miss Ma. Jo Ann Ventura, department chair of Information Technology, Mr. Rommel S. Corpuz, a 4th-year BSBA student and Miss Carla Manlimid, a 4th-year BEE student.
