The ongoing project of the Provincial Government of Pangasinan , City Government of Dagupan – LGU- Barangay Tambac , Tanggol Kalikasan , Pangasinan State University and Mangrove Rehabilitation and Nursery Care . Collaboratively implemented by the Research and Extension Team of Pangasinan State University – Asingan Campus a Demonstration – Seminar Training and MOA signing of Memorandum of Agreement on Thursday , January 13 -14 , 2022 at Barangay Tambac , Dagupan City , Pangasinan.
The two day Seminar- Workshop on Mangrove Rehabilitation , 101 Ways to Prepare Moringa Dishes , Liquid Soap Making and Marketing Strategies facilitated by Mr. Jeffrey M. Tamayo . On the first day the program started with an opening prayer lead by Ms. Analyn I. Diola , Coordinator of Research and Development. Followed by welcome remarks given by the Coordinator of Extension Services Prof. Adoracion T. Gante. And comes the awaited aims of the program the lecture proper – Dr. Alvin Soriano of Mangrove Rehabilitation and Nursery Care discuss and shared his insights regarding on Mangrove Rehabilitation . Ms. Marry Ann E. Soberano – Chairman of BSE and BTLEd Department – 101 Ways to Prepare Moringa Dishes – demonstrates Pancake and Waffle . Mr. Genesis Padilla – Faculty of BTLEd Department – 101 Ways to Prepare Moringa Dishes – demonstrate Moringa Cookies. Dr. Honelly Mae S. Cascolan – College Dean of Teacher Education and Dr. Mary Jane U. Quibilan – Department Chairman BEE and GenEd – demonstrate Liquid Soap Making. Dr. Jeanlyn V. Domingo , Ms. Janna D. Arce , and Angela May N. Miana of BSBA Department discussed on Marketing and Business Strategies. Furthermore, the collaboration with the agencies should be continued in the provision of enhanced services to include the partnership with partner agencies and LGU’s should be strengthened to expand the program to include the needs of the sustainable livelihood project for the non working women and out of school youths and its beneficiaries.
The MOA Signing Provincial Government of Pangasinan , City Government of Dagupan – LGU- Barangay Tambac , Tanggol Kalikasan , Pangasinan State University and Mangrove Rehabilitation and Nursery Care this extension activity aims at giving sustainable livelihood project for the non working women and out of school youths of Barangay Tambac , Dagupan City , Pangasinan. It has been a challenge for implementers of the project to impose sustainability as per experience, extension activities empowerment among women, which later constitutes further poverty. This activity as a tool for livelihood and entrepreneurship that could be managed through the Basic Business Management Seminar. Collaboration of Tambac Baranggay Council and the Research and Extensionists brought in success in linking the project to fund sources, suppliers and end consumers.
