August 5-9, 2024 โ The Pangasinan State University (PSU)-Asingan Campus once more extends its binding program on Civil Service Review and Mock Examinations (now on its Phase V), held at the Asingan Municipal Conference. This initiative, designed to support local government employees and aspiring civil servants, has been a key component of the university’s commitment to public service and community development.
Dr. Philip G. Nonales, Dean of Students and Alumni Affairs, headed the undertaking alongside a team of highly experienced faculty members proven to be invaluable in delivering high-quality and impactful sessions. The faculty experts are the following: Mr. Christopher D. Espero, Coordinator for Cultural Affairs, Dr. Jeanlyn V. Domingo, Coordinator for International Affairs, Prof. Adoracion T. Gante, Coordinator for Extension, Mr. Laurence D. Agsalud, Chair of the BSE-BEE Department, Mr. Merwin D. Nonan, Faculty of the BSE Department, Dr. Jennifer R. Miguel, Faculty of the BSE Department, Dr. Elsa Q. Terre, Coordinator for PRPIO, Dr. Mary Jane U. Quibilan, Chair of the GenEd Department, Mr. Reven B. Ferrer, SSC Adviser, Dr. Gina B. Selga, Coordinator for Teaching Internship, and Dr. Tyrone V. Lopez, Coordinator for Sports and Development.
The undertaking aims to provide comprehensive preparation for candidates facing the Civil Service Examination comes August 11, 2024 (Sunday). The extension of the program underscores PSU-Asinganโs dedication to enhancing the capabilities of future public servants.
This collaborative effort is made possible through the support of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Asingan, with Hon. Carlos F. Lopez, Jr., the Local Chief Executive, playing a pivotal role. The LGU’s involvement, represented by Mr. Arjay M. Garcia, Municipal Planning Officer, highlights the strong partnership between the university and local government in fostering a well-prepared and competent workforce. Dr. Madlyn D. Tingco, PSU Campus Executive Director, whose support is unlimited, has been instrumental to this extension for the community’s advancement.
The review and mock examination sessions are tailored to offer practical insights and rigorous practice, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the Civil Service Examination. The session ended with the Awarding of Certificates to speakers.
