On February 12, 2025, the 4th Phase of the Extension Program introduced the Mathinik App to San Vicente West Integrated School, revolutionizing math education. Building on the βMastery of Fundamental Mathematics Operations Using Math Player Gameβ research study launched in 2021, the app evolved through earlier phases in 2022 and 2024, providing an engaging and effective learning tool.
Under the leadership of Dr. Madlyn D. Tingco – Campus executive director of PSU Asingan Campus, the program was spearheaded by Prof. JB Doria, Dean of the College of Technology and Business, with contributions from Sir Wilmar Motea, Chairman of the IT Department, faculty members Sir Patrick Tarlit, Sir Alvin Umaga, Maβam Elizabeth Delia, and extension coordinator Maβam Elsa Terre. Their efforts were further supported by Dr. Lowie L. Ginez, school principal, and Dr. Leilanie V. Taculog, math teacher of San Vicente West Integrated School, ensuring collaboration among students, parents, and teachers.
