“Enhancing Digital Skills through Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva” was successfully conducted on July 10, 2025 via Zoom — with a strong turnout from the community!
The event welcomed a diverse group of students, parents, guardians, employees, educators, job seekers, and lifelong learners, all eager to improve their digital skills and boost productivity using essential office tools.
Our expert speakers shared practical insights:
Sir Wilmar Jennie Motea, Department Chairman, introduced participants to Microsoft Word’s Copilot integration and the power of Mail Merge—an essential tool for automating documents.
Dean JB Doria, College of Technology and Business, gave an informative overview of Microsoft Excel, its importance in data handling, and basic mathematical formulas. To make the session more interactive and exciting, GCash prizes were given to participants who actively answered during the Excel discussion!
Sir Patrick Tarlit, MIS Coordinator, explained basic PowerPoint operations and demonstrated how to create stunning content through Canva’s collaborative design features.
The event was graced by Campus Executive Director Dr. Madlyn D. Tingco, who expressed full support for the continuous promotion of digital literacy as part of community development.
