The Pangasinan State University Asingan campus embarked challenging journey on the Virtual  Accreditation Survey Visit which focused on achieving our quality education and meet the standard in response to our  university’s structure, policies, procedures, processes and resources. The programs of College of Education namely: Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE)-major in English, Mathematics and Science and Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) major in Enhanced General Education were surveyed by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Level 3 Phase 1  on December 7-11, 2020 via Zoom Platform. As requirement for the said accreditation, the programs prepared and uploaded documents using windows and MAC application. Online interview and writing  report was also part of the visit.

          The very competent and highly esteemed AACCUP accreditors greatly contributed to improving the quality academic programs and services in the field of education.

          The composition of the  accreditors: BSE -Dr.Marita R. Parobrob  (Team Leader) and Dr. Henelita E. Fernandez (member ) BEE- Dr. Janaliza D. Bantiyan (Team Leader) Dr. Beverly I. Agustin (member). Prof. Lauren P. Kipaan  was the accreditor in the area of Library for both programs.

          The  BSE and BEEd programs  was awarded  the   Level 3 Re-accredited Phase 1 status as result of the Technical Review and Board of Action issued by the AACCUP on December 16, 2020.With collective efforts, outstanding leadership and dynamic commitment during the accreditation process ,  the College of Education  of PSU Asingan campus was confirmed  Level 3  accredited.

It was during the Pandemic when the AACCUP Accreditation Level III for the 3 Programs of PSU-Asingan Campus namely: Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English, Math and Science, Bachelor of Elementary Education major in Enhanced General Education and Bachelor of Information Technology was held on December 7, 2020 digitally. The opening program for the said AACCUP accreditation was led by the campus admin: Dr. Valentin B. Calpo Jr. (CED), Dr. Priscilla L. Agsalud (Dean, College of Education) and Dr. Nemia C. Galang (Dean, College of Technology and Business). The said pandemic didn’t stop the accreditors assigned: Dr. Marita B. Parobrob (Bulacan State University) and Dr. Genelita E. Hernandez (Mindoro State College of Agriculture and Technology) for BSE Programs, Dr. Janaliza B. Bantayin (Ifugao State University) and Dr. Beverly I. Agustin (President Ramon Magsaysay State University) for BEE program, Dr. Enrico R. Rivano (Laguna State University) and Prof. Marianne B. Calayag (Bulacan State University) for BSIT Program, with Prof. Lauren P. Kipaan (Benguet State University) for campus library. The accreditation of the 3 Programs were held at 3 different locations: Accreditation Room for BEE, Campus Library for BSE, and MacBook laboratory for BSIT in time for online interviews in different areas and checking of the supporting documents respectively. It was an all-out support by everyone in the campus that resulted to a very satisfying outcome among these programs. Above all, the great experience and observable camaraderie of everyone is truely extra ordinary.
