In a commendable initiative led by Mr. Aaron Manasseh L. Agsalud, campus nurse, and Ms. Elizabeth S. Della, assistant campus nurse, PSU-AC took a significant step towards ensuring the health and well-being of its employees. The flu vaccination drive was successfully conducted with the support of Dr. Madlyn D. Tingco, campus executive director, and Dr. Philip G. Nonales, Dean of Students and Alumni Affairs Office.
The flu vaccines were provided by the Rural Health Unit of Asingan, spearheaded by Dr. Ronnie S. Tomas, municipal health officer, and Ms. Marilou O. Torio, public health nurse III. This collaborative effort underscores the importance of preventive healthcare and aligns with the SDG 3 that focuses on promoting good health and well-being.
By prioritizing the health of its employees, PSU-AC demonstrates a profound commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for its academic community. This initiative not only helps in preventing the spread of influenza but also sets a remarkable example of community partnership and proactive health management.
