The opening program featured the delivery of a heartfelt welcome address from University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas, delivered on his behalf by Dr. Celeste T. Mercado, the OIC-Vice President for Quality Assurance. Following this, Dr. Mercado introduced the PSU AACCUP Accreditation Survey Team, which includes Dr. Niño B. Corpuz, Director of the Office of Quality Assurance of Tarlac State University and coordinator for PSU-AC, Dr. Jerome D. Soriano of Tarlac Agricultural University as team leader, and Dr. Kim Edward S. Santos of Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology.
Present at the event were the area chairs: Dr. Lobien S. Soriano for Instruction, Dr. Jeanlyn V. Domingo for Extension, Dr. Gloria M. Ducut for Faculty Development, and Ms. Joy Winona P. Perado for Library. Special recognition was given to the Technical Working Group from the various programs, whose tireless efforts in preparing the necessary documents have been crucial for the success of this accreditation visit.
The survey process has now officially begun, with the team meticulously reviewing essential documents and standards. The college community is optimistic and committed to achieving favorable results, demonstrating a shared dedication to academic excellence and continuous improvement.
