Dr. Lobien S. Soriano, Chairperson of the Business Administration together with all the faculty members of the BSBA Department conducted a webinar series on Financial Management and Budgeting to 238 BSBA students’ parents. The activity was monitored by the Extension Coordinator, Dr. Gina B. Selga and the College Dean of Technology and Business. Dr. Nemia C. Galang.
The series started on March 12, 2021 with Atty. Ricardo Cachola, Jr. was the first speaker where he discussed Legal Basis on the Basic Financial Management and Budgeting. The second series followed on March 26, 2021 with the topic Practical Application of Financial Management and Budgeting during Pandemic which was discussed by Ms. Jeanlyn B. Domingo. Dr. Lobien Soriano discussed the topic Access to Financial Products and Services for Additional Family Income on the third series on April 16, 2021.
The remaining topics Increasing Family Income through Commission from Financial Products and Services, Social Responsibility and Good Governance and Consumer Behavior during Pandemic were discussed by Ms. Glenny Salazar, Mr. Jonathan Jover and Miss Fely Benica Briones respectively on April 30, 2021, May 7, 2021 and May 14, 2021.
The webinar series was conducted via M S Teams, the official Learning Management System of the University. Parents were advised to use their son/daughter’s MS accounts.
