CHRISTMAS IS IN THE AIR for 164 faculty members of Pangasinan State University Lingayen Campus (PSU-LC) as they received mobile tablets in support to effective instructional delivery.

The distribution of tablets which was initiated by the Faculty Association headed by the Honorable Regent, Dr. Elmer Vingua with Student Regent, Hon. Jeann de Vera, is one of the main projects of the administration to help teachers for blended learning amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Aside from this, there are also tablets to be given to selected students to address problems on availability of learning devices for online classes.

Through this, students and teachers may be able to exchange lessons and assignments and even conduct synchronous discussions using MS Teams, the learning management system utilized by the university.

On social media, some faculty members expressed their gratefulness to the Faculty Association and to the University President, Dr. Dexter R. Buted, for doing such initiative which is a testament of a strong commitment to quality education.

“Thank you so much Dr. Dexter Buted and Faculty Association. In PSU, We are HAPPY to be here!,” Mrs. Ann Valencerina-Soriano, faculty member under Natural Science Department, shared to her post on Facebook.   /mmpd
