Pangasinan State University Asingan Campus developed the Salt Water Distillation Machine as part of the researches “Extraction of Distilled Water as by-product from Salt Making”, “Distilled Water from Salt Making for Car Lead Acid Battery” and “Utilization of Distilled Water from Salt Making as Coolant for Car Radiator”. The machine was developed by Engr. Eric A. Cunanan and Engr. John Melchor Alejo, both faculty members of the Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIT) program.
The machine was developed to collect distilled water from brine solutions through the distillation process. The machine was tested by Engr. John Melchor Alejo.
