Future proofing Gen Zs is about guiding and helping them through the uncertainties of pandemic. With the rapid shift to digital platforms, these have become unprecedented times. And to help distress students from mundane routines of online learning, Pangasinan State University through the Office of the Student Services and Alumni Affairs headed by Prof. Celeste T. Mercado in partnership with Globe launched the very first University-Wide Webinar on Future Forward: Youth Virtual Summit on April 13, 2021.

The said summit provides alternative sources of entertainment and expression as well as guiding them through informative discussions with renowned speakers. More than four hundred students and faculty members from the nine campuses of PSU connect to experience Virtual Hangouts GoCampus.

As the youth steer the evolving times, Virtual Hangout GoCampus will help ready and equip them for whatever the future may bring, especially in terms of education and career. Through Future Forward: A Virtual Youth Summit, Globe’s learning forums aims to empower Gen Zs by inviting young industry leaders to impart knowledge and motivation, as well as provide them with a platform to share thoughts about things that matter to them.

“Gone are the days of being fresh out of college, clueless about what we’re supposed to do. Through the Virtual Hangouts, we were able to enjoy online activities that cater best to our interests and learn from renowned speakers of our generation,” echoed Ms. Je-Ann de Vera, PSU Student Regent during the virtual summit.

Globe Studios Leeroy New got the ball rolling where he talked about the importance of using recycled materials in to art through Nurture Nature, followed by PICK-A-ROO CEO and Co-Founder Crystal Gonzalez, where she shared her insights on the Post College: Employee or Entrepreneur. Globe Head Quark henares was also there to talk about the Future of Film Industry, and finally, Shoor Head and Co-Founder JC Gallegos, talked about The Future of Experience Economy./jjdz
