The Information Technology Department of Pangasinan State University headed by Mr. Jb O. Doria, Chair of IT Program conducted an extension project dubbed as Extension Service Skills Training (ESST) for the Child Development Workers (CDWs) of San Manuel, Pangasinan on February 24, 2021.
The said training program was spearheaded by Dr. Valentin B. Calpo, Jr. Campus Executive Director, Dr. Gina B. Selga, Extension Coordinator and faculty members of the IT Department. The extension project was conducted in line with the provision of the ICT KONEK Project which was introduced by Dr. Dexter R. Buted, University President. This project on Google Workspace: An Extension Skills Service Training Program is in partnership with the Local Government of San Manuel will eventually help CDWs with the vital use of Google Workspace.
Dr. Elbert M. Galas, Vice President for Quality Assurance commended Hon. Kenneth Marco S. Perez, Municipal Mayor of San Manuel being the first Municipality to settle in the PSU ICT KONEK Project. Hon. Perez in turn applauded PSU for producing quality students.
The success of the said event was even realized when Pangasinan State University Asingan Campus and Local Government Unit of San Manuel signed the Memorandum of Agreement.
