Ms Analyn I. Diola, Research and Development Coordinator together with her Research Assistant collected water at Tocok, San Fabian, Pangasinan on October, 2021 for the study entitled “Germination and Growth Performance of Nipa Seeds as Influenced by Water and Watering Schemes”.
The study was research approved for Pangasinan State University Binmaley Campus and was adapted by Asingan Campus led by Ms. Analyn I. Diola. It is adapted by Ms. Diola because she was a mobile faculty for Binmaley Campus.
The research study entitled, “Germination and Growth Performance of Nypa Seeds using Different Types of Soil” a study approved for Pangasinan State University – Binmaley Campus and was adapted by Asingan Campus led by Ms. Analyn I. Diola, Research and Development Coordinator and Miss Marry Ann Soberano, Chair of the BSE and BTLE Department.
The team collected soil samples from different locations in Pangasinan to evaluate the most suited soil type in germinating the nypa.
The research study entitled “Nipa Husk, Coir / Fiber and Peat as Growth Enhancer for Moringa oleifera”, research approved for PSU Binmaley was completed through the aid of Ms. Analyn I. Diola, Research and Development Coordinator. Ms. Diola spearheaded the shredding of the nipa husk on June, 2021 at Mangaldan Material Recovery Facility.
The shredded materials were used as Growth Enhancer for Moringa oleifera. It is used in preparing the seeding medium and the transplanting medium in growing the moringa to check which the best suited material to be used.
