βPrevention is better than cure,β was coined by Dutch philosopher Desiderius Erasmus in about the year 1500. The PSU Asingan Campus Medical Unit acknowledge the value of this concept especially now that the COVID-19 pandemic is still in our midst. Hence, Mr. Aaron Agsalud, campus nurse and faculty member of PSU Asingan and Dr. Armando Junio, CED spearheaded the implementation of COVID-19 boosters for faculty, staff and immediate family members in collaboration with LGU Asingan Rural Health Unit and DOH personnel on March 11 and 14. The activity is in consonance with the preparation of our university for the limited F2F classes and also for the protection of employees of the campus. LGU Asingan, RHU and DOH personnel provided and administered the vaccines.
