Pangasinan State University through its earnest commitment in providing topmost and unbounded learning opportunities for all, conducted a series of training interventions for university personnel starting March 17 via Zoom.

Unhampered by the pandemic, PSU-Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO) in partnership with People Dynamics, Inc. (Profiles Asia Pacific Inc.) launched the series of training intervention for all regular university personnel across all nine (9) campuses categorized into three (3): Leadership Management (for Top Management including academic and administrative council); Faculty Development (for teaching personnel); Non-teaching personnel development. The activity sets off in March and ends in May.

Every participant is required to complete the 6-hour online training and submit relevant output from the module.

The topics for each of the three categories were systematically chosen according to their points for improvements based on the results of the conducted survey in December 2020.

The training served as HRMDO’s initiative to empower its personnel by boosting their leadership abilities, upscaling skills germane to their area, and bolstering overall work performance. Originally conceived in 2019, the project only materialized in December 2020 due to the logistical challenges and health risks brought about by the onset of the pandemic.

As we remain in the grips of the debilitating challenges brought by the pandemic, PSU persists to adapt and step up its modes of delivering quality education and topmost service to stakeholders, all of this is possible with an empowered workforce.
