PSU Asingan researchers seeks patent for the salt water distillation machine. The distiller was designed to collect the water vapour output during the salt making process. The machine enables the water vapour to condense into distilled water. The distilled water shall be used as radiator coolant and water for the car battery. The distilled water was subjected to physico-chemical analysis to test its suitability for the said purpose. The design was submitted by Engr. Eric Cunanan, Ms Analyn Diola and Dr. Irene De Vera for Patent in the University Intellectual Property Office.
